What war leaves behind
In the series the photographer shows Kosovo seventeen years after the war and people’s attempts to return to ordinary life. During NATO’s 78-day-long campaign 1400 bombs were dropped. The ground reads “Attention, anti-infantry mine.” Agriculture is a dangerous occupation even though it makes up a third of the country’s economics. After the war the ground continues to be soaked in blood, mines continue to take lives.
